Three crime labs in the United States told the FBI they were impacted by the CODIS software glitch, which caused incorrect genetic profile information to be displayed, officials said.
No profiles or offenders were misidentified as a result, according to the FBI, which said the inaccurately displayed information occurred due to a “data synchronization issue.”"
